Hi Everyone, my apologies for the lateness of news but have been attending the first three Regional Shows, and I must say they all seemed to have good numbers even with less judges.  Lets hope we can continue with Clubs making an ample profit and be able to continue with Banquets and the awarding of niceY/E awards  .

The May Show statistics were in Margo’s This and That but just wanted to put in it went very smooth and had some double digit classes.   Total entries were 475  Regional, and  Instate Division was 86.  Mike wants to thank each and every person that helped and participated; we could not do it without you.  It’s the team effort that makes it happen.
The Show Awards were Monogrammed Directors chairs and Reserves were Monogrammed Garment bags.   I will be posting the Hi and Res. Hi Point winners at the   end of my column.

We are hard at work getting ready for the August Show; again, we will have our Wine and Cheese Social, and the Twin Lobster Clam Bake.  Forms should be on the Website soon.  Save the date…see you there

Lisa Blanchette and Wren Wakeman are probably on the road right now going to Nationals in Mississippi.   We wish you tons of luck!!!!  Lisa also is singing the National Anthem there. …We”re proud of you both.

Granite State had their 40th Anniversary Show with Billy Jo Schreiber at the helm…large classes some in the teens.   I’m not sure of the final entry count but believe it to be in the 600 range.   Nice choice of “give-a-ways” and beautiful Show end prizes.   Nice Job!!
We also enjoyed “One Fine Mess!! (the band)

Again, at the NH show, I was reminded of why we’ve stayed with the Appaloosa circuit..  We drove in and up to the barn where our stalls were and Bev Pellegrino was waiting for us, and she said “Mike you have flat tire.”  Sure enough one was flat  on our new trailer (new tires)    No more than it was said Peter Dehman came to the rescue  helping with getting it  off and fixed.   Thank you Peter, your help was greatly appreciated.  That’s the way it is at Appy shows, they help each other.

Next is Western Mass…..til then   Pat
